Control

On general release at cinemas this weekend, the long awaited Joy Division / Ian Curtis film "Control".

For some strange reason, filmed entirely in Nottingham, with the band sequences shot at the Marcus Garvey Centre on Lenton Boulevard.

I was offered the chance to be an extra in the concert scenes, but wasn't allowed to take time off work in the very short notice I was given.

A decision I'm regretting considerably.
