Hangover ? On a school night ? That would be nice, if only so I would know exactly how to deal with it (bacon, chocolate, orange lucozade, pub at lunch-time .....).
The other problem is, that when you've had what I've had, something insignificant like a cold (or to give it its medical name "compleo aegrus") is rewarded with exactly zero sympathy. I'd need to have something hanging off by their partially severed ligaments to earn any compassion whatsoever!!!
It's been a very very long time since I've been in Nottingham and missed a Forest game, probably around 15/16 years. I didn't miss that many when I lived 500 miles away!
The way I see it is, if I'm fit enough to go to work, I'm fit enough to go to football.
Big win tomorrow, play-offs here we come, make sure you've got enough room to put us all up!!
My original sums were based on averaging up every club based on their performance to-date. On that basis, we wouldn't have caught them even with a 100% record after the draw at Bristol.
But it didn't factor in the possibility of a bad run for one of them coinciding with a near 100% performance from Las Trees between now and the end.
71pts is certainly do-able. And it wouldn't be the first time that Forest have benefitted from a strong late surge that coincides with a collapse in form for team that thought they were certain of promotion....

My certainty the other day that we wouldn't be able to make the playoffs took a welcome dent today. I found this:
